I did a poplar build and used aluminum angle iron for the bridge and aluminum bar stock to file a nut into shape. If I were you that would be the first thing I'd research so that you can build what you will most likely like. ![]() I'm sure you can find plans online, or you could do some forensic work and make your own plans from a picture (just fine a couple of things with known dimensions and extrapolate from there). I built mine a long time ago and wanted to do a Fender-flavored something but I wanted a longer scale length for a deeper kinda vibe. You will likely have to figure that out yourself.
